Instead of framing, this weekend I researched how to paint on Yupo paper – a synthetic paper, machine-made of polypropylene. It is waterproof, stain-resistant, tree-free, strong and durable. I’ve used it before, many years ago, but was mostly frustrated since it’s very hard to control anything! This time I decided to play, and see what I could find once the first coat of paint dried. I was so wrapped up in the process, I forgot to take any in-progress photos. Here are the 4 paintings I finished: 3 landscapes and another bird.
