I’m loving this little oil painting — I started with a palette knife, and just wanted to emphasize the color red. Of course as I added white, pink came into play too, not a color I’m overly fond of, but I kept working and soon loved the abstract shapes that were emerging. After letting it sit for a while to dry, I found a photograph I’d taken with trees on a sloped hillside which then helped me finalize my vision. I hope you enjoy it too!
