For fun I decided to join Leslie Saeta’s thirty paintings in thirty days challenge, starting today – the first of September. The nice thing is there’s no pressure, just an opportunity to join 100’s of other artists around the world wanting to practice, learn, and push themselves to produce artwork daily if possible for a month. Each artist then uploads their paintings to Leslie’s website and to their own or their online gallery to share. There are no rules (you can click the link above to see) and you too can join in – no need to start right now, but you can start tomorrow or mid month or whenever you choose. It’s just a chance to paint, paint, paint! Who wants to join me?
Here’s my first painting — a piece I painted while playing with paint on my glass palette. Once the paper dried I turned the piece, studied it, then painted what I saw the piece needed to finish it off. It’s available on auction in my Daily Paintworks gallery.
