Goldfinch On A Twig and Sparrow

I painted a couple of birds last week while babysitting our daughter’s cat Avi. Because he wasn’t at his own home, we had to make sure we kept him inside. He spent a lot of time peering out our windows, watching the birds and neighborhood cats. He’s quite the hunter, and I heard he recently pounced on a wild Tom Turkey! I wasn’t happy with the placement of one of the feet – below you can see it’s been moved closer to its body. A nice benefit when using acrylics is that they’re correctable!
