Last week, I visited a pet store to shoot photographs of fish to use in my paintings. I like to use my own reference photos for my paintings to make sure there aren’t any copyright issues with the artwork I produce. I’m not sure if this is unusual in these days of internet access, but it’s something I’ve always felt important to follow with my own work. Here are the latest fish paintings I just finished—they’re available! Each painting is on 6×6 inch archival watercolor paper.
