This week I played with paper and pastel in the studio for a change – sanded black paper, and experimented with spraying my diluted PVA size to see how the paper and pastel stood up to the spray. It seemed fine, but needs a bit more pastel on the pear I think before it’s finished.
We took a break in the middle of the day to get out for a hike before the weather changed. It was cold, with an east wind blowing, but where we were, it was sheltered from most of the wind. One of my favorite places to go for a quick trek! Can you guess where we went?
Loved the clouds… and we also found these mushrooms – anyone know what kind they are?
Looking forward to more paper and pastel experimentations – but first I have a pear to eat…!
