Hello,
Welcome! I recently decided to create a new website, and this blog page is where I’ll be sharing techniques, new work, and other artistic adventures as I continue on this journey and career as a professional artist. Please visit the other pages on this site to see artwork that is available, along with an archive of some of the pieces I’ve sold in the past. It’s amazing how much work goes into these websites and blogs – we’re talking days and days and hours of time spent uploading, pricing, linking, and photographing! Being an artist isn’t just about painting and playing, it includes “fun” moments of inventory and accounting and my least favorite part – FRAMING – all part of the behind-the-scenes of being in this business.
Speaking of framing, here are a couple of new landscape monotypes I’ve finished recently – all framed and ready to go!
Snowy Peak
acrylic monotype
4 1/2×6 1/2 in an 8×10 inch frame
$45 / $3 shipping and handling
Storm is Over
acrylic monotype
4 1/2×6 1/2 in an 8×10 inch frame
$45 / $3 shipping and handling
Mountain Weather
acrylic monotype
4 1/2×6 1/2 in an 8×10 inch frame
$45 / $3 shipping and handling
Each of these pieces seem appropriate today, since after many weeks of fog and an unusual lack of moisture here in the Northwest, we’re now experiencing some real rain which should be helping to replenish the snow pack up in the Cascade mountains.
Thanks for visiting, and please feel free to leave comments!
I think I will feel I have finally “made it as an artist” when I can hire someone to do my framing 🙂
