Because, sometimes it’s just pie time…

Earlier this summer we picked 41 pounds of blueberries — a record for the two of us. Most years we pick blueberries in the evening, about an hour before the u-pick farm closes. This year, we picked on a cool Saturday afternoon – without any other plans to stop us from just picking away, content and happy. Once they were all packed away in the freezer, we made pie. Sure do wish there was pie in the freezer…
