If you haven’t noticed, I have an obsession with red poppies. When they bloom in our backyard during May, I try to paint them as often as I can. That particular plant is through blooming now, but here are two more poppy paintings I painted when they were bursting with brilliant red, starting with a pencil sketch on watercolor paper.
