Philomath Open Studios Tour

Last weekend I was the happy participant and guest artist for the second year in a row at one of the studios in the Philomath Open Studio Tour. The tour continues this coming weekend – November 1st and 2nd, and I’ll be hanging out downstairs below Faye Cummin’s lovely studio in her husband Fred’s incredibly clean and tidy garage from 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm both days. Sharing the space upstairs is artist Susan Johnson, and her oil bar paintings and collages. Even though last weekend was pretty rainy, we had a great turn out and enjoyed seeing everyone that came by. If you’d like to take the tour, you can download a copy of the Tour Map Here. It’s really fun to get out and drive the back roads to see all the unique studios, the different artists and the variety of artwork ranging from paintings in acrylic, pastel, mixed media, to ceramics, jewelry, photography, metals, glass, fiber and woodworking.
